Easter

Our Easter was fun but also a little sad. Ryan was sick with pneumonia, so I took the boys to church with me. They looked very handsome in their little suits. After church we took a few pictures, had lunch and took a nap. While the boys were sleeping the Easter bunny arrived. They played with their new toys and then we did a small Easter egg hunt on our patio. Truman enjoyed pulling the eggs out of the basket and Will enjoyed trying to eat the plants. I made ham for dinner and the Stodtmeister Hopping Bunny rolls for dessert. It was a nice day but we wished Ryan felt better.

Truman doesn't like grass, so it was hard to get a smile out of him.

Family Walk

One of our favorite things about living in Santa Barbara is that we are a 10 minute walk to the most amazing bluffs overlooking the ocean and awesome sunsets. Since the boys were born we haven't made it to the bluffs that often because the path is a bit rugged that leads out to the beach and our stroller just can't handle it. Ryan had a brilliant idea that would let us walk to the bluffs as a family,a nd He found a great deal on these backpacks. Ryan and I need to work on strengthening our core muscles but for the most part they are a hit.

Palm Springs

For spring break and to celebrate birthday week (the boys birthday and my birthday) we drove to Palm Springs and had a few fun days in the sun.
Will getting ready for his swim.

Our hotel had a lazy river. The boys enjoyed it even though they don't looks so happy in these pictures.

The breakfast buffet was yummy. Poor Tru slipped in the bath the night before and split his eye. So his left eye looks a little sad.
Family picture on the boys' actual 1st birthday March 23rd. We celebrated by going to our favorite Mexican restaurant.

The boys loved exploring the hotel room.
