Now that it is April everyone is staring to enjoy trees that look like this. Don't you just love spring.

Since we moved to Santa Barbara Ryan has been working out with the UCSB Triathlon club. In February he did his first sprint triathlon at Stanford.

It is hard to see but he is getting out of the nasty bay after the swim.

I was very proud of him and then at the end of March he did his first Olympic length triathlon at UCSB. That one was a little harder but he still did a great job. I have pictures of will have to add them later. Now I am doubly proud of him.

Easter

Our poor blog has been so neglected. It is time for an update.

Last weekend we journeyed home to Reno to be a part of Isabel’s name and blessing. We had a great time hanging out with the family and eating lots of food. I tried to hold Isabel as much as I was allowed because I miss her as soon as I get in the car to head back to Santa Barbara. She has grown and changed so much in the three weeks that I haven’t seen her. I unfortunately forgot my good camera so there are only a few pictures below but as soon as I get the good ones from Nicole I will post more. The blessing was beautiful and we had a great Easter Sunday all together.

Chubby cheeks, after the blessing we were standing outside taking pictures and Isabel's little rash got bright red. Poor little thing.

This picture doesn't do them justice but her eyes are a beautiful blue. We didn't expect anything else because both mom and dad have awesome blue eyes.

She had her 2 month check up yesterday and here are the stats:

11lbs 8oz and 23 1/2 inches long

I have the best sister in the world

My sister is the best. She sends me little pictures of Izzy (I am already trying out nicknames) so I don't miss out on anything. Here she is sleeping soundly after her fist doctors appointment.

I took loads of pictures this weekend but of course I was having issues downloading them. So this will have to do for today until I can figure out what the issue is.

It is official, her name is:

Isabel Delone O'Neil

Delone is my Grandma's name.

She is the sweetest little thing in the world. I held her as much as I could because I know the next time I see her she wont be so small and new. I have to soak it in while I can. I already love being an aunt and Ryan couldn't be more ecstatic about being Uncle Ryan.

Baby Shower

Last weekend I flew home for my sister's baby showers. It was a really nice weekend that I got to spend with my family and relax at home. These are not the best pictures in the world but didn't have my good camera.

Nicole is due in less then a month and she looks awesome.

My favorite was the cute home made labels for the blood orange soda.

Nicole actually had two showers that weekend and I was able to be there for both. Unfortunately I didn't take a camera to the second shower but it was just as beautiful. While I was home we went to check out the open house for the new postpartum wing at the hospital she will be delivering at. It was pretty nice for a hospital.

I wish I could fully express how excited I am to be an aunt. 30 days and counting.
