Christmas 2009

For Christmas this year we were in Reno for two weeks. It was a wonderful break and we had a great time with family. We got to celebrate Isabel's first Christmas a little early before they went to California to be with the O'Neil family.

We were with the Stodtmeister family most of the time and it was great. We cooked, ate, played a lot of video games, went to the movies, stayed up late and slept in every day. It was really nice.

The Stodtmeister Christmas eve tradition is getting to sit on Santa's lap.

We both asked for two healthy baby boys to arrive safe and sound this spring.

20 Weeks

Today is my 20 week or 5 month mark. I am feeling a lot better and am actually enjoying being pregnant. But even better than me feeling good is we are having two boys!

Thanksgiving

For actual Thanksgiving we drove to northern CA to be with the extened family. The food was great but the best part is just being together. There has been two new additions to our family this year which makes for a lot of adults sitting and watching the babies.

Isabel is on the move
My cousin's new baby boy Wesly Paul sound asleep at Thanksgiving dinner, and a proud new grandpa can't keep his eyes off of him.
Any outfit with bunny ears deserves a picture.
Ry sported a stash all month for Movember.
A new fun game: putting Isabel in hilarious places and taking pictures.

The week of Thanksgiving

For as long as I have been around my Grandparents have had a vacation home in Palm Springs CA. The sad news is that they recently sold it. The good news is Ryan and I got to spend 5 days before Thanksgiving to say good bye. Ryan studied for his BIG qualifying exam but still found time to hit a few golf balls. I finished our Christmas shopping and relaxed in the desert heat.

We're Having Twins!

We are pregnant and having twins! We don't know their sexes yet, but they are due May 5th.

Ryan wanted to put up a picture of the creepy twins from The Shining, but I said no and settled with their cartoon counterparts from the Simpsons (Sherri and Terri).

Ojai Inn and Spa

For Labor day we escaped to Ojai Inn & Spa. It was a wonderful three day weekend. Below are a few pictures of the spectacular resort.

If you can't see Ry is giving the deer in the background two thumbs up.

This is the best picture we could get without a third person.

Thank you so much Mick, Scott, Ali and Paul for a great get away.

Family Time

At the beginning of August we went home to Reno to spend some time with the family. Even though we saw everyone and had a wonderful time, I only took pictures of my niece. But look at her can you blame me...

She does normally wear clothes, but we just had a photo shoot after a big bowl of rice cereal.
First time in the jumper and she looks a little nervous, but she did enjoy it.

Ryan's Birthday weekend

The weekend of Ryan's birthday Alex and Kyle came into town to help us celebrate.

New games on the Wii

Driving Range on Friday night

Saturday golf at Glen Annie golf course. It was an awesome day and a great course. We are still talking about Kyle's eagle on the 13th hole.

Finished the day off with yellow cake with chocolate frosting. Ryan's favorite.

Sunday afternoon we went for a little nature walk to Lizards Mouth. There were incredible views of Santa Barbara and the ocean, and the rocks were pretty fun to climb on.

It was a good weekend.

We are back and playing catch up

I have been missing in action for to long. Time to catch up on our summer events and fill you in on what we are up to now.

July 26th we drove to Redlands to hang out and say good bye to some good friends. One of Ryan's mission companions and his family moved to England, and it was our last time to see them for a long time. We stayed up way too late, but it was well worth it. Jason and Amy we miss you already.
