Memorial Day Weekend

Grandma and Grandpa D came to visit us for Memorial Day Weekend, and we had a blast.

We had fun at the zoo.

Swimming Lessons

The boys have swimming lessons every Tuesday night, and they love it!  Truman loves jumping off the side of the pool and is doing really well at his kicks.  William floats like a champ and loves singing the songs at the beginning of class.

Super Long Post

Warning:  This is going to be one long post.  I am sick of not updating my blog, so I am going to get to get us all caught up.

January:

William loves hats and glasses.  Here he has borrowed Mr. Potato Head's glasses.

February:
Rod and Gay came to visit us for the weekend.

We met in LA and went to the Getty.  The Getty was amazing but a little hard with almost 2 year olds who were sick.  It was a really nice weekend.  We went swimming at Grandma and Grandpa's hotel, went to lunch at Padaro, took a walk to the beach, Ryan and I went to the movies, and we visited Solvang.

Valentine's Day:

Ryan is afraid that these pictures suggest the boys have a future in Valentine's Day Strip-o-Grams.

When Grandma and Grandpa were in town they bought Will and Tru sunglasses.  They love them!

Grandma D bought the boys a tandem bike for Christmas.  

William had his first official hair cut and Truman had his second.  They were both really good boys.

Disneyland: At Christmas we were supposed to go to Disneyland with Grandma and Grandpa Stod.  But we were all cursed with the stomach flu and didn't get to go.  So on a spur of the moment decision and for an early birthday gift we went to Disneyland at the end of February.  We were worried that the boys would be too young, but they had a GREAT time.  The pictures are not great because they were all taken with my phone, but it was a lot of fun.

Will was so tired after a long magical day.

We rode the train, Snow White, Pinocchio, Small World, Buzz Lightyear, Pirates of the Caribbean, Mr. Toad's Wild Ride, Alice in Wonderland, the Carousel , and Dumbo.  We watched the light parade for a few minutes, had a Dole Whip ice cream, a Mickey shaped pretzel, and beignets from Down Town Disney.

March:

At the beginning of March we had a quick trip home to Reno.  The boys got to play in the snow and they loved it.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Holly brought us these soccer jerseys from Ireland.  They are still a little big but the boys love them.

Happy 2nd Birthday:

The boys were sick for their 2nd birthday :( but we still had a pretty good day.

They got big boy undies and tried them on in the morning.

We went to a friend's cowboy birthday in March.

Again, Will loves hats.

My birthday was a little uneventful.  I spent a lot of the day in the doctors office with Will and going to 3 different pharmacies to get his medications.  But I still got fun things from Ryan, a yummy ice cream cake, and the memories of Disneyland.

For spring break we went to Palm Springs.  My parents rented a house for the month, and we went for a few days to enjoy.  It was a great few days.  We went swimming every day, played golf, Ryan and I went on 2 dates, and played with Grandma and Grandpa D and Grandma Great.  We also went out to eat and Will and Tru were good boys.

We celebrated our birthdays again and enjoyed conference.  (Well, as much as we could enjoy with two 2 year olds.)

For Easter we were back in Palm Springs.  We went to celebrate my Grandma's 90th birthday.  The whole Bailey side of the family was there (except Holly, who we missed), and it was a fun weekend.  More swimming, golf, Easter egg dying, dinners out, and Easter celebrations.

April:
We took another quick trip to Reno.

Truman is obsessed with golf (in case you couldn't tell), but he also became obsessed with Mario Kart Wii after we hyped it up by holding it over his head as a prize for pooping in the potty. He never went poop in the potty, but he was preparing to play by finding and  reading this instruction manual for the game. He called it the "car game book."

 Grandpa Stod made Truman his very own little golf club.

 Will loves hats, glasses and now headphones.  Thank you Aunt Coley and Uncle Chris for the birthday gift.
