Warning: This is going to be a long post, but then I will be all caught up.
The boys did pretty well on the car ride. Their favorite thing was when we would let them play in the front while we were filling up with gas.
We got to meet Claire and Emmett for the first time. I was a little jealous that they got to be in the same crib in the NICU. Will and Tru did not have that.
We swam at Grandma and Grandpa's house a couple of time. Truman loved it and got a little too comfortable in the water. It took William a little time to warm up, but he got there.
This was the first of three trips to Pyramid lake. They loved riding on Great Grandma Stodtmeisters paddle board.
This was baby Chuck's first trip to Pyramid lake.
That is me out on the stand up paddle board.
Truman loved the water...
William loved the dirt.
The boys first ride on Grandpa's boat.
Nap with uncle Al
Ryan on the stand up paddle board.
The last and final Stodtmeister boy to serve a mission returned from his mission in South Africa. It was so fun to see Kyle and hear all his stories.
Ryan's youngest brothers are twins. Kyle just got home from his mission and Kipp was getting married 6 days later. In preparation for the wedding, Rod and Gay made a few awesome improvements to their backyard.
Rusty and Laura were up at Lake Tahoe with her family for the first week. We all went up on Friday night so they could bless Charlotte.
It was a beautiful night.
Another day at Pyramid Lake
Will fell face first into the sand. He was a little sad.
We did family pictures in the most amazing garden you have ever seen.
The boys were done at this point so the pictures might not be so cute.
The night before the wedding we went to dinner as family, extended family, and new family.
I had this great idea that I was going to take pictures the morning of the wedding and then take pictures once everything was done so you could see the difference. But the day got super crazy and the second set of pictures never happened. We all worked really hard. We started early, but we got everything done.
We did have a little brake and had breakfast made for us by Gay's friend Maxine. It was a fun morning.
Kipp and Kathleen were married in the temple, we took family pictures up at the temple and then there was a ring ceremony in the backyard and the reception followed. It was a beautiful day and the wedding was wonderful.
Once the wedding was over it was a nice week of relaxation.
Will fell at the lake and split his eye open giving himself a shiner. You can see it in the above and below pictures.
Little Claire came home half way into our trip, and the day before we left Emmett came home. They are so cute. I miss them already. Claire has a little oxygen, but hopefully will be off it soon.
This is the new O'Duttonmeister group. 5 grandkids in 2 1/2 years.
