4th of July (catch up)

We had a fun 4th of July.  Ryan played softball with the ward in the morning, while I picked up and the boys napped.  After lunch we went with some friends to a private nice beach.  The boys had a great time and chased after Ryan every time he went into the water.

We got home and had hamburgers and played until it was time to go to the fireworks.

The fireworks were set off at the park down the street so we only had to walk a short ways and we had a front row seat.
Thanks Grandma S. for the 4th of July monkey shirts.

A story to remember for the future- Truman was playing with the garage door opener on the morning of the 4th of July.  Later that day we needed to get the beach chairs out of the garage. We looked everywhere for the dumb opener but Truman had done something with it and we could not find it anywhere.  We tore the house apart looking for the opener.  We finally gave up and found another way to open the garage.  Five days later I found it shoved into the VCR.
