Baby Michelle

Two days after Easter (April 2nd) I woke up at about 4am with contractions and a sneaking suspicion that my water had broken. I timed my contractions for the next hour and they were coming every 5 to 7 minutes and not going away. After a call to my OB we packed up and head to the hospital. We quickly had to do something with our sleepy 3 year olds that we had to wake up and luckily our Bishop and his wife were nice to step in.
My OB arrived at the hospital and things moved pretty quickly at that point. I remember after I was all prepped and numb laying on the table my OB looked at my belly and guesses her weight would be 6 lbs and 4 ounces. So when she arrived at 8:23 am weighing 8 lbs 1 ounce we were all pretty surprised. Because she was early they had a nurse from the NICU in the delivery room. Her name was Vivienne and we remembered having her as a nurse when the boys spent time in the NICU when they were born. She was the best. Even though Michelle was early she was perfect and had no issues.

It was a few hours before I got to see and hold her again but it was well worth the wait. She was such a treat and I was so excited to have her in my arms. (Oh and I was so glad to not be pregnant any more.)
William loved her from the moment he saw her. Truman was a little ambivalent but that's ok.
