Moving Day July 20th finally arrived. My wonderful in-laws came into town to help us move and they were a huge help. We also has a huge group from our ward show up to help pack the truck which was another big help. We lived in Santa Barbara for 5 years. This was the longest we have lived anywhere since we got married. Oh yeah and we now have three children. Surprisingly the move went actually really well. The truck was packed quickly, we stayed on schedule, we didn't hit any traffic into LA, we arrived at the new house a little early, and the unload went really fast. The only issues we had were that when we arrived at the new house they were still working on a few things and it was not very clean and boys didn't get a nap. So all in all we can't complain.
When Ryan saw the truck I rented he kept making fun of me. He said it was way to big and that we didn't need this much space. I am glad I get with my instinct because we needed every last inch, and my car, and Ryan's car, and my in-laws car and trailer.
Playing before the packing began.
During the move the boys were filthily. But they had lots of little friends to keep them company.
All packed up and really to drive to LA. The kids are already in the car and we weren't about to pull them our for a last family picture. It was sad driving past the ocean one last time.
We set the TV up right away so the boys would have something to do among the boxes.
A quick glimpse into our beautiful and spacious new home. I still can't believe we are getting to live here.
